Just relax and you’ll be fine. Remember that there’s nothing wrong with needing to take the test more than once. You’ve waited this long, you can wait a few more weeks if you have to retake it. And nobody will care if you have to take it again.

Getting a calm, rational proctor is honestly more important than your actual skills, at least in the US. I failed my first driver’s test because my car literally could not fit between the parallel parking cones (it was too long). The proctor auto-failed me for it. The second time I took the test, I had a different guy and he gave me a pass without even attempting it, after I explained.

I’ve never understood why a birth certificate is somehow a golden document since mine can be replicated by a 12 year old and a pirated copy of photoshop.

Good luck and don’t be nervous! :D Many of us had to take our tests more than once (twice for me!) before we passed, so if you don’t pass, it’s not the end of the world. If you do pass, enjoy the euphoria! :D

Yup. My first time I was failed because the examiner freaked out and grabbed the wheel when I changed lanes. Which was exactly as per her instructions... and yes I checked all around me. Failed for “Physical assistance required” even though I nailed the rest of the test.

Second time around I was nervous as frig and the examiner was a very blunt, clipped-speaking old dude. Before we were halfway through I was sure I’d failed again, between his comments and my general anxiety interfering... passed.

That birth certificate thing happened to my sister too. Good luck I’m sure you’ll do great. Your here so you must be interested in driving therefore you’re probably better than someone who hates it :)
